30 Things I Would Tell 15 Year Old Me

▫️Remember that 10th grade science project you were so stressed about? It works out. Through hard work, angel friends, and God's grace, the pressure will pass. You'll come out on top.

▫️Speaking of pressure, unmedicated labors have lots. But you'll dig deep, like always, and hold that 10+lb bundle of sweetness and be glad you did it.

▫️Chocolate frosting on a knife right outta the container is wrecking your gut. Stop that.

▫️Marriage isn't hard; your mindset is hard. Stop being the victim and communicate.

▫️You'll never regret getting up before the sun. (But it's sure nicer if you can get a nap during the day)

▫️People honestly love *real* people. I'm serious. Even boys you date. Let go of the idea that you need to fit the "Jane Austen" mold and let that double chin cackle SHINE.

▫️Friends come, and they go. Even ones you thought would stay forever. Be grateful for their time in your life, and be accepting of new ones.

▫️Goat milk isn't meant to be "goaty" and can be rich, creamy and delish!

▫️Your husband will be well-versed in most things Jack Black. Keep up.

▫️Your mom and sisters will become your best friends and be the pillar for other friendships you want.

▫️An "I am capable" attitude is contagious. Especially around kids.

▫️You'll ride good horses and you'll ride great horses. But the ones in the middle, the ones who needs your consistency to shine, are the ones that will teach you the most. Your work ethic will always outweigh pure talent.

▫️Snow College is always a fabulous choice.

▫️You're a storyteller, living out stories that are worth telling. Whoever writes about playing it safe? Don't shy away from experiences that will stretch and push you (a move to Indiana, perhaps?).

▫️You can get busy livin' or get busy dyin'.

▫️Auditions are going to drain you. Especially because after the pandemic of 2020, everything will turn into a self-tape and you'll be setting up that sheet and those lights in a 36 foot trailer. Get after it, girl. Get.it.

▫️Raising your kids is the most fulfilling thing you'll ever experience.

▫️You'll get the "serious" face figured out for pictures. Don't sweat it. It won't always look like you've got to poop.

▫️Yes, school is important and grades matter, but it's more about the skills you're developing through the process. Focus on who you're meeting and leaving people better than you found them.

▫️Love the heck out of people ... 'til you can't.

▫️WWJD? - "What would Jesus do?" AND "What would Josh do?". Make the bracelet already.

▫️Take care of your body - it's the only one you're gonna get.

▫️BUT in that same breath, ... some things are out of our control. Living in a fallen world means our bodies are not perfect. God is though, so that's where your trust needs to be. "He made the lame to walk, the blind to see."

▫️Your past-self is not your current identity. You're a masterpiece always in progress, and that is a beautiful thing.

▫️You'll travel the world and see a wide variety of people and cultures. And at the end of the day, you'll realize we're all just people who struggle with the same things and find happiness from simplicity. We're all just trying to figure out life the best we can.

▫️Don't knock the weird, crunchy people. You'll find you fit right in.

▫️Sewing is daunting and you *think* you have no interest, it's true. But find a good teacher and boy, will you enjoy it!

▫️Film sets are a different kind of magic—less red carpet, more 3 a.m. Tostitos pizza. Appreciate the craft and hard work because that's what really matters.

▫️That sense of humor will come in handy when you marry a Hooker. Trust me.

▫️Vulnerability is relatability; knowing the time and place? The quest of life.
